Triple Crown’s Arizona Spring Championships features four sessions that attract teams to the inviting warmth of metro Phoenix, stretching from the first week of March until the 21st of the month. While the action on the diamond is a great reason to make the trip, there are plenty of diversions when the schedule allows.

March 12-14: NASCAR Spring Event

The Phoenix Raceway in Avondale (a southwest suburb of Phoenix) will host a three-day set of races drawing action from the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series and the ARCA Menards Series.

PHOENIX RACEWAY

Phoenix draws from a variety of cultures, so it makes sense you can find some amazing options when it comes to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Much of the Spring Championships takes place in Scottsdale, where you’ll find an intoxicating mix of food options.

ULTIMATE FOODIE GUIDE

Coming by car? Be sure to throw your “sticks” in the trunk, because you are heading to a golfing paradise. Tons of options and many scenic delights await golfers looking for a fresh experience.

GOLFING PARADISE

On the east side of the metro area sits the jagged, jaw-dropping beauty of the Superstition Mountains, home of numerous hiking trails that can be as challenging as you desire. Always a good idea to tackle these powerfully gorgeous vistas in springtime, when conditions make it a pleasurable journey.
